Background Panel

  1. To make the background panel of the card, alternately apply a 1/2 x 1/8 inch line of Blue, Peacock and Lime Green Mica Gloss™ ink to the long side of a sheet of card stock. Repeat this color pattern to complete the length of the card.
  2. Using the brayer, spread ink horizontally to create the stripes across the card. If the amount of ink does not spread at least 4 inches across, apply a little more ink to the end of the rows to continue the stripes. Let dry.
  3. Crop to fit on the Tall card leaving a 1/8 inch margin. Set aside.

Patera™ Sliding Charm

  1. To make the Patera™ sliding charm, look at the scraps from the striped panel and select an area that will look nice as the focus of the charm. Trim to fit the the Patera™ charm.
  2. Adhere to the base of the Patera™ with a drop of Diamond Glaze™. Let dry.
  3. Fill the Patera™ with Gel du Soleil™ and cure with a UV lamp or direct sunlight. Approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Slide onto 3/4″ ribbon.

Sparkling Peacock Attachment

  1. To make the Sparkling Peacock attachment, the first step is to ink and stamp the Peacock with permanent ink onto a sheet of JudiKins Window Plastic.
  2. While this is drying, make a palette of “paint” by applying 3 separate dollops (approximately 3/4″) of Diamond Glaze™ onto a second sheet of Window Plastic.
  3. Add 1 drop of Light Blue dye based ink to one dollop of Diamond Glaze™ and 1 drop of Light Green ink to the second dollop. Leave one dollop clear.
  4. On the back side of the peacock stamped window plastic, paint the light blue Diamond Glaze™.
  5. Pour on Prisma glitter and shake off excess.
  6. To prevent the next color of Diamond Glaze™ from contaminating the first application of color, let the edges of the glittered light blue tinted Diamond Glaze™ dry.
  7. Repeat painting and glittering with the Light Green Diamond Glaze™. Let the edges dry.
  8. Finally, paint clear Diamond Glaze™ over the rest of the Peacock and pour on Prisma Glitter, shake off excess and let everything dry.
  9. Cut out.
